Storie di suoni cattivi e buoni is a collection of nursery rhymes, rhymes, tautograms, fairy tales and stories whose main characters are sounds: animal sounds, natural noises, sounds produced by musical instruments and other sound sources. “Good” sounds when they arise from positive, advantageous, constructive situations; “bad” sounds when they represent pain, malice, destruction. The surreal, unconventional, unusual characters, which in some stories make you smile and in others make you think, and the mysterious, comical or serious, mocking situations, make this book a mix of freshness and sincerity.

A work of great educational importance, not only from a sound point of view but also from a literary, expressive and communicative point of view, because it offers the teacher many ideas for working with students of different age groups. In addition to simple reading, these stories can be acted out, mimed, transformed into spoken choruses, choreographies, musical fantasies, song lyrics. Also usable with the family, as an original alternative to classic bedtime stories.

The book, edited by Prof. Spaccazocchi, is entirely created by a group of students from the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” who attended the lessons on Methodology of Music Education and Music Theory of the Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences.
